PRACTICAL HANDBOOK OF GENERAL PHARMACY

Dr. Avish Maru is working as Principal at Loknete Dr. J. D. Pawar College of Pharmacy since last 17 years. He is also having industrial experience of 16 years. He is Recognized Post Graduate Teacher by Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and guided 56 students for M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics). He is also Recognized Ph D Guide by SPPU and currently guiding 7 research scholars to purse Ph D. He has published 47 scientific research papers and 20 review articles in reputed National and International Journals. As an author he has published three books. He has been awarded with Innovation Award at International level by The Solvent Extraction Association of India in the year 2023. He is also awarded with Best Principal Award by Savitribai Phule Pune University in the year 2024. He is granted with three patents and filled application for another two. He has delivered many lead lectures / expert lectures in International conferences. He is also member of Board of Studies (BOS) for Pharmaceutics in SPPU. Under his able leadership, his college has been awarded as the Best College Award for year 2022-23 by SPPU Pune. The college is also NBA accredited and recognized by UGC under 2(f) & 12(B).

Ms. Dipika Shashikant Pawar is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Gahlot Institute of Pharmacy, Navi Mumbai. She has completed her Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm) Specilization in Pharmaceutics from Savitribai Phule Pune University. She brings a combined experience of over five years, including four years in academics and one year as a Patent Analyst in the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) department at Vadodara. During her tenure in the IPR field, Ms. Pawar was actively involved in drafting several patent projects, gaining valuable expertise in pharmaceutical innovations and patent documentation. In the academic domain, she has contributed to scientific literature with few original research paper and five review articles published in reputed national and international journals. Her upcoming book chapters are due for publication soon, and she is currently authoring a new title, “Practical Book of Pharmacology–I.” Passionate about pharmaceutical education, Ms. Pawar continues to contribute actively to both research and teaching

Mr. Yashpal More is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Pharmaceutics at Loknete Dr. J. D. Pawar College of Pharmacy since last 10 years. He is Recognized Post Graduate Teacher by Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and guided 15 students for M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics). His area of research includes nanoparticles based drug delivery system. He has published 10 scientific research papers and 5 review articles in reputed National and International Journals. As an author he has published two books.
