In Ukiyo-e, beauty is found in fleeting moments—a glimpse of a sleeve in motion, the ripple of silk against bare skin, the delicate sway of a woman’s step. It is a beauty that exists in transience, and that is what I seek to capture in this series.
A young girl’s elegance is not static; it is expressed through her natural movements, the way she interacts with fabric, the quiet confidence in her gestures. Her beauty is not something to be contained—it is fluid, ever-changing, much like the world around her. By blending the soft, textured details of modern lingerie with the poetic simplicity of Ukiyo-e, I hope to create a visual language that speaks to both past and present.
