O autoru

Gerd Keiser is founder and president of PhotonicsComm Solutions, Inc., a firm specializing in consulting and education for the optical communications industry. (Visit www.PhotonicsComm.com.) He had extensive experience at Honeywell, GTE, and General Dynamics in optical networking technology for telecommunications applications, has served as Adjunct Professor of Electrical Engineering at Northeastern University and Tufts University, and is a Fellow of the IEEE. The world-known author of McGraw-Hill's Optical Fiber Communications and Local Area Networks, he is also an Associate Editor of the technical journal Optical Fiber Technology.
