About this ebook

Assassin's Creed: Renaissance is the thrilling novelisation by Oliver Bowden based on the game series.

'I will seek Vengeance upon those who betrayed my family. I am Ezio Auditore di Firenze. I am an Assassin...'

The Year of Our Lord 1476 - the Renaissance: culture and art flourish alongside the bloodiest corruption and violence. Bitter blood-feuds rage between the warring political families of Italy.

Following the murder of his father and brothers, Ezio Auditore di Firenze is entrusted with an ancient Codex, the key to a conspiracy that goes back to the centuries-old conflict between the shadowy Templar Knights and the elite Order of Assassins.

Ezio must avenge the deaths of his kinsmen and in doing so fulfil his destiny, and live by the laws of the Assassin's Creed.

Truth is written in blood

I have expected more from this book. It's not bad and the mixture of fantasy, real world, history, sci-fiction and reality makes it an easy, interesting and quick read, but it's lacking on something. It's a little bit like a mixture between Da Vinci Code and The Witcher, but not as good as the second one.

Gripping story, good job at translating the game into a book! Didn't think I'd ever read this, but as soon as I started, I couldn't stop.

I am a huge fan of the AC games especially II and Ezio Auditore.....the book is very well written and although it follows the storyline of AC II it has a lot of extra bits...new info and really puts more depth into the characters....I could visualise being in Florence with Ezio when he's climbing the rooftops....the historic element of real life characters that existed makes it so immersive..highly recommended to AC and history buffs :)
