A really wonderful read from this new author. Remission is the first book in the Heartland Metro Hospital series. Dr Carolina Ramirez is working on a treatment for cervical cancer when she gets news that she is to work with her childhood crush, Dr Hector Medina, as her mentor. This book is well written, the characters are beautifully created with a great chemistry. This is a very slow burn romance but is most intriguing and keeps you riveted and rooting for their HEA. Overall, a great start to a new series of novels that I will be eagerly awaiting continuing with Contusion which is Valentina and Rory’s story! This author writes the best books! her characters are fully rounded and the stories thoughtful and realistic. a great start to what I'm sure will be a fantastic series.
