To avenge her brother’s death, Reddit detective Fiona attempts to steal back his invention, only to be framed for murder. She reluctantly teams up with burned-out detective Maurice to clear her name, uncovering corporate crime and family secrets. I always find Nikki Payne’s books to be challenging and entertaining. This fast-paced romantic suspense is intriguing and emotional. Thanks, NetGalley, for the ARC I received. This is my honest and voluntary review.
