He recognizes the opportunities lost to his aloofness, striving to overcome his awkwardness to build meaningful experiences and learn more about himself.
Esperian’s orientation within the Kulusai band complete, his current relationships grow while meeting new members and investigating an ever-deepening mystery as to their true goal on Sestanus.
Can Esperian keep competing interests aligned to protect his squad—itself still suffering for the loss of one of its own—do his job, and work toward a better future for the people of Sestanus or will he face increasing pressure to pick a side?
