Nam Nguyen was born in Dong Nai, Vietnam in the year 1996. He lived there for 17 years before moving to Kent, Washington, United States in 2013. After moving to Kent, he studied at the Kentridge High School and graduated as an Honor Roll Student in 2015 with some honors including Best Student of the Year in Business Education and Top 10% Senior of the Year. He is also a Kent Notary Scholar and in the top 5% Student of the entire Kent School District. Also in 2015, he was honored with a medal, pin, and certificate from the President of the United States Barack Obama for his great support to the community accompanied with an appreciation and thank you letter from the White House (Washington D.C) for his contributions to the community. After his high school days in Kentridge, his journey into greatness took a further step as he went to the prestigious Washington State University in Pullman, WA to pursue double degrees in Professional Chemistry and International Business with triple minors in Global Leadership Certificate, Global Studies, and Certificate of Global Competencies. He is an Honor Student and in the Top 7% of Freshman at Washington State University. Nam is a recipient of 20 scholarship awards with value over $100,000 from Federal, State, Community, Educational, and Private Organizational Bodies. He is also the first Washington State University student to pursue 5 successive study abroad programs in Ireland, Italy, Germany, England, Brazil, and Australia. In his free time, he enjoys singing, modelling, shooting, photographing, drawing, painting,writing, acting, songwriting, poetizing and traveling.
