About this ebook

Once married, the Bible says, two should become one; I on the other hand quickly learned saying "I DO' doesn't make two people one. For better or worse and for richer or poorer, truly became very significant to me; as those words of our marriage vows, that we exchanged on that faithful September day, began to manifest themselves in our lives day by day. Through every trial and obstacle, I found myself learning lessons that would have me putting pen to paper journaling my way to forgiveness, to freedom, to submission and ultimately to being a better servant to God and a better wife to my husband.

This would be no easy task, as I cried many tears of frustration and doubt but finally coming to the point of choice. Yes Ladies, choice is the one thing we all have and the choice to change is a decision we must all make in our lives to become better women to ourselves and better wives to our husbands. I had to put a mirror in front of my face. Not just any mirror but one that would see through my Mac make-up and my pretty Sephora lipstick. One that would see me for who I truly was. I found that the "wife" I saw was not the wife I wanted to be nor the wife God called me to be. So I decided to change. Change brought me to the end of myself and to the beginning of the God in me. Change is where After The Vows begins.
