Inclusive Community Development Through Tourism and Hospitality Practices

Faithfull Gonzo is an innovative and ambitious individual with a high level of expertise within the hospitality, events and tourism industry. Before transitioning into academia, she has worked for large organisations such as Marriott Hotels. She successfully completed doctoral level research which focused on rural tourism development and poverty alleviation. Also graduated with a Master of Arts degree in International Tourism and Hospitality Management and a BA (honours) degree in Events Management and Hospitality Management. Has a passion and experience in teaching Hospitality, Tourism and Events management. She is currently working as a Senior Lecturer in Events Management at the University of West London. She has also worked in various academic institutions such as the University of Sunderland in London where she was a programme coordinator for Tourism and Hospitality Programme. She is an external evaluator for Malta Further and Higher Education Authority and an external examiner for North-West University South Africa. She has been lecturing on a variety of courses ranging from Events, International Tourism and Hospitality Management in the UK. [Editor]
