About the author
Kelly Berry-Petrie was inspired to write this book after she completed a painting of a flamingo and a bumblebee. She hopes the friendship between Flamingo and Bumble will remind readers not to discriminate, but to embrace others’ differences. Kelly is a mother and grandmother, and she splits her time between Wasaga Beach, Ontario, and Florida with her husband and dog. Mingo ’n’ Bumble is her first book.
