This book describes how microbes can be used as effective and sustainable resources to meet the current challenge of finding suitable and economical solutions for biopharmaceuticals, enzymes, food additives, nutraceuticals, value added biochemicals and microbial fuels, and discusses various aspects of microbial regulatory activity and its applications. It particularly focuses on the design, layout and other relevant issues in industrial microbe applications. Dr. Basanta Kumara Behera was a professor of biotechnology at three distinguished Indian universities, where he taught postgraduate level courses on bio-energy management and biomass processing technology. In 2009 he joined an MNS company as adviser for specialty chemicals production and design. Behera has authored, or co-authored three books, and his work on hydrogen fuel-cell, and microbial transformation of regiospecific complex botanical molecules have appeared in international repute journals.
Dr. Ajit Varma is Distinguished Scientist and Professor of Eminence at Amity Institute of Microbial Technology; Vice Chairman, Amity Science, Technology and Innovation Foundation (ASTIF) at Amity University Uttar Pradesh. Prior to this he served as professor of microbial technology at the School of Life Sciences, Jawaharlal University till 2004. He has published over 300 research articles in national and international journals, as well as 78 books in the area of microbial technology.He is the editor-in-chief of the book series Soil Biology published by Springer-Verlag, Germany.רוצה לדרג את הספר הדיגיטלי הזה?
