Micro- and Nanostructured Epoxy Thermosetting Polymer Blends and their Nanocomposites provides a comprehensive overview of nanostructured thermoset blends and nanocomposites. It covers basic concepts of synthesis and design, as well as applications such as toughening, viscoelasticity, and thermal stability. The book begins with detailed descriptions of epoxy and block copolymers, reviewing their morphology and toughening mechanisms. The following chapters explore several epoxy/block copolymer blends and their nanocomposites, focusing on synthesis, viscoelastic properties, thermal stability, rheology, surface properties, and mechanical properties. The final chapters offer insights into future directions in this rapidly evolving field. This book is a valuable reference for researchers and industry professionals interested in these materials and the development of highly toughened micro and nanostructured high-performance materials. - Presents the state-of-the-art in nanostructured thermoset blends and their nanocomposites, from synthesis and design and opportunities and applications - Highlights the latest experimental and theoretical studies on epoxy-block copolymer blends and blend nanocomposites - Integrates fundamentals with real-world applications
