I feel as though I almost met David Crockett after reading this book. He lived his life after the Revolutionary Way but before the Civil War, when a great man went above and beyond when he knew he was right. I enjoy Michael Wallis' writing style and feel prouder to be an American for having read this book. Well done!

Michael Wallis, author of The Best Land Under Heaven and the best-selling Route 66 and Billy the Kid, has published nineteen books and won numerous awards and honors. He is a popular public speaker and voice actor and lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
