(Spoilers incomming) Honestly I enjoyed the series found myself enthralled
in this and it even distracted me from working on important tasks at times
which was inconvenient lol my only problem was with the malgorath fight and
it's honestly me just reading into it way to much but his power is
inaccurate if you spend the time to count it up at the end of the fight
mort says he has 40 ceilors of power including the 6 he started the fight
with but malgoroth was supposed to have taken 30k people as sacrifices and
then their family's as well and while it does state it's less effective
then draining them by hand it comes out to about 1k people is equivalent to
1 ceilor even if you count it by 1/4 of that and assume that each family
had the wife and just to be safe half a child so a 1.5x bonus from the
family's his power should be well above 40 if that's not enough to convince
you then also consider there were 41 other dark gods and 1 of his generals
he left a little closer to full power had 2 ceilors even assuming the rest
only had half a ceilor that alone comes out the 20 ceilors and he drained
the lady of the evening star at one point for let's just say half a ceilor
to be safe if youd like to do the math here and this isn't counting his
natural strength which I approximate to be around 2 ceilors based on the
fact that it would have taken 3 of the shining gods to beat him at his
beginning and ceilor was the strongest only possessing 1 ceilor himself so
yeah numbers are inaccurate but hey otherwise was a good read

I am truelly sad that I have now read the last book in the series. What a great series. I have become connected with all of the characters whilst reading the Mageborn series. I have cried, laughed, and loved each character. The wit shared between Mordecai, Marcus and Dorian and the childhood memories they hold reminds are touching. I really hope we will see some more adventures with the children ??? .. I would highly recommend this series of book to anyone.. makesure you start from the beginning.

I began reading in earnest around the age of 12 when I started reading to my older brother at night. I soon found that my hunger for books was greater than our school library could supply but fortunately we as a family moved quite often. Most years I changed schools at least twice and as a result had a constant supply of fresh reading material. Many days I would start a book on the way to school and have it finished by seventh period, so I am not exaggeration when I say I have read tens of thousands books. Before her passing my wife spent many months in the hospital and it was during this time that I became acquainted with the Mageborn series. I can say Michael is the first writer who has managed to combine all of the element of my favorite authors into individual stories. This book as well as the other three in this series brings together many facets of real life as well as much of what we wish were real. As a book review I know this is sadly lacking. I can only say that I am in a hurry because I have already purchased the prequel to this series and the first book is calling my name. Well done Michael, and many thanks.
