About this ebook

The brothers and tag team professional wrestlers recount their journey to success in this "intriguing, personal, family-centered" memoir (Library Journal).

"These guys are the pioneers of making it BIG in the pro wrestling business outside of the corporate structure by doing things their own way. . . . Matt and Nick are the true definition of success in the wrestling world . . .and beyond." —Chris Jericho, multiple-time world champion and author of three New York Times bestsellers

Famous for their highflying moves, Superkicks, and viral videos, Matt and Nick Jackson are two of the hottest competitors in professional wrestling today, inspiring fans and dreams worldwide through their resilience and eagerness to forge their own path.

In Young Bucks, Matt and Nick recount how they made it not only as spectacular wrestlers in the All Elite Wrestling lineup, but also as visionary executives heralding one of the most exciting eras in the independent wrestling industry. From taking odd jobs to pay for their own wrestling ring and hosting backyard events with friends to being recruited into the independent California circuit and becoming one of the sports biggest acts, Matt and Nick look back on the sacrifices they made and share personal reflections on their faith, their families, and the pressure of the spotlight. Paying tribute to the wrestling acts and inspirations that came before them, they elaborate on this historic moment in the evolution of wrestling and their pivotal role in the dramatic transformation of the sport and culture.

Alternating between Matt's and Nick's perspectives, Young Bucks is a complete portrait of what it means to grow into—and give back to—wrestling.

" Young Bucks makes you feel motivated to pursue your own dreams and shows us the real meaning behind the phrase, "Never give up". . . . Whether you're looking for a book on pro wrestling, a motivational journey or an example of how to take a risk and start a business to do things on your own terms: this is a book for you." — SLAM! As a long time fan of wrestling and learning about how things work in the business in a fans perspective, I really enjoyed being enlightened by these two back and forth telling their story through literally the backyard and all the way to the top. absolute fantastic read for anyone, but especially for the die hard wrestling fans. this is honestly one of my favorite books ever. I know I'm totally nerding out here big time, but I too have followed wrestling since I was 5 years old and now being 40, they have instilled my love further for wrestling. I wish this book would have been around twenty years ago cause it is so motivating and making me question my career path I chose as a underground miner. Should have tried professional wrestling. I digress, please if you enjoy wrestling just get this book and read it. You'll absolutely love it. Thank you Matt and Nick!

This is really good. It's written by both Matt and Nick, so you get two different perspectives as they grow up and fall in love with pro wrestling. Great read.
