Mrs. Uma Balakumar started writing in 2005 and she has written around 42 novels so far. Most of her novels are nice romantic novels. She has also written 5 spiritual novels. Her first novel is âTheendi Chendra Thendralâ which got published in 2005 in Kanmani Magazine. All her novels are available as printed books in Arun publications. She has also written around 15 short stories. She has got an award from Thanga Mangai and another award from Kumutham Snehithi for her short stories.
