Magic Spells and a Double Agent

To pass the time, I recently started working at The Elder Tree Day Spa with my mom and Gigi. But Octavia, my familiar, thinks that hospitality and relaxation aren't nearly as much fun as investigations. It might be the first time we’ve ever agreed.

Speaking of, someone really needs to look into the disappearance of my old boss, Joyce.

Might as well be me.

With Octavia hot on my heels as always, I get to work trying to find the missing owner of the Ancients Agency. But soon it becomes clear that we desperately need help, and not just because a mysterious man in black is now chasing them.

I enlist some assistance from my best friend, Jamie, and together we get closer to the truth. It seems a military plot to control the local wolves might be to blame, but an unexpected connection to my own past really complicates matters too.

But the biggest complication of all might just be Kellen, whose destiny now appears to be irrevocably intertwined with my own. At least he’s fun to look at.
