Mageborn: The Final Redemption

I began reading in earnest around the age of 12 when I started reading to my older brother at night. I soon found that my hunger for books was greater than our school library could supply but fortunately we as a family moved quite often. Most years I changed schools at least twice and as a result had a constant supply of fresh reading material. Many days I would start a book on the way to school and have it finished by seventh period, so I am not exaggeration when I say I have read tens of thousands books. Before her passing my wife spent many months in the hospital and it was during this time that I became acquainted with the Mageborn series. I can say Michael is the first writer who has managed to combine all of the element of my favorite authors into individual stories. This book as well as the other three in this series brings together many facets of real life as well as much of what we wish were real. As a book review I know this is sadly lacking. I can only say that I am in a hurry because I have already purchased the prequel to this series and the first book is calling my name. Well done Michael, and many thanks.

The series was so well done that I felt an attachment to the characters in the plot. It also had me constantly wanting to keep reading rather than play video games or anything else. The ending was superbly done and I was glad that the author took the time to tie up any loose ends.

The whole series have been a complete joy to read. Like watching a Netflix mini series in slow motion. Totally glad I found book 1!
