MECHANICAL SYSTEMS and ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Dr. T.PREMKUMAR has been affiliated with the Department of Mechanical Engineering at SRM Madurai College of Engineering and Technology, Tamil Nadu, India, since March 2023. He has completed the master’s in mechanical engineering specialized in Cad/Cam on June 2011 from Mepco Schlenk college of engineering – Sivakasi with first class and undergraduate in mechanical engineering on April 2009 from K.L.N College of Engineering, pottapalayam with first class. He received his Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering (specialized in composites Material) from KARE. He is currently doing active research in the area of materials. He has 12+ years teaching as well as research experience. He is a Member of Indian Society for Technical Education. His areas of interest are polymer composite, materials characterization, and tribology.

Dr.G.S.Samy obtained his B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering with first class from Annai Teresa College of Engineering, Anna University in 2006, his M.E. degree in Automobile Engineering with first class from Madras Institute of Technology - Anna University Campus, Chennai in 2010, and his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education in 2019. Currently, he has holds the esteemed positions of Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He has held various leadership roles at the Academy of Maritime Education and Training (AMET University), Kanathur, Chennai. These positions include Associate Dean for Research and Development, Director for Research Publication and Incentives, Criteria III Manager for AQAR, and University Cycling Club Coordinator. This diverse portfolio showcases his commitment to both academic excellence and the institution's overall advancement.

Dr. G.S.Samy brings over 9.5 years of teaching experience in Mechanical and Automobile Engineering and 5.1 years of industrial experience as a Design Engineer and Senior Technical Lead Engineer. His research interests include Composite Materials, Thermal Analysis in Composite Machining, and ANSYS Structural and CFD-Aerodynamic Analysis. He has published 8 research articles, 3 book chapters, 1 book and 1 patent (Filed) in reputed international journals and publishers and has presented his work at 13 international and 3 national conferences. He is also a reviewer for Springer publications and a member of the Institute of Engineers (India).

N.Jeenath Shafana is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus in Chennai. She received her M. E degree of Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University Chennai. She got University Rank in her ME respectively. Currently, she is working as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering in Sathyabama Institute of Science and Engineering Chennai. She has presented papers in National and International Conferences. She also has published articles, book chapters in reputed International Journals. She has completed several certified courses from NPTEL and Coursera. Her research area is focused on Machine Learning, Deep Learning.
