Born in Porbandar, a small town in Gujarat, Mahatma Gandhi became a world famous personality because of his determination, unyielding faith and profound values. He preached and practiced 'non-violence' throughout his life. His birthday (2nd October) is celebrated as 'International Non-Violence Day' throughout the world. This title, depicted the life story of the 'Father of the Nation', is not only fascinating, but also inspiring to each of us. Ironically, this great figure who preached non-violence throughout his life, was eventually shot dead by a citizen of the same country that he helped become independent.
