About this ebook

The use of vectors not only simplifies treatments of differential geometry, mechanics, hydrodynamics, and electrodynamics, but also makes mathematical and physical concepts more tangible and easy to grasp. This text for undergraduates was designed as a short introductory course to give students the tools of vector algebra and calculus, as well as a brief glimpse into these subjects' manifold applications. The applications are developed to the extent that the uses of the potential function, both scalar and vector, are fully illustrated. Moreover, the basic postulates of vector analysis are brought to the foreground, placing their logical structure in sharp relief.
Because the concept of a vector has been greatly generalized in geometry and mathematical physics, this text concludes with a brief introduction to abstract vector spaces, together with the ideas of linear dependence, basis, and dimension. The exposition of these abstract concepts is kept simple and clear. Numerous figures appear throughout the text.

Simple, easy and quick understanding as a basic structure, purpose and design of Vector Analysis for everyone to develop a strong learning. Some or few knowledge in Vector, in which is developed a much stable, creative and comfortable skills forever be. Thus, a good book with a basic understanding in a strongly structure, development and desire thought from the beginning to new fields of Vector Analysis. Best author, best writing, content and clear simplicity for expansion, extension and correlation in Vector Analysis at all times, minds and curious. As saying " it is not the book, but the reader with his(her) imagination under a precise, clear and comfortable knowledge over any times, places and ways ... ".

This is such an interesting book on vectors, it is hard to find others that compare. The first chapter alone covers some of the most extraordinary properties of vectors, from proving well known geometry theorems with vector algebra, like the law of sines, to Plücker coordinates and the beautiful way they can be used to describe things like the shortest distance from a point to a line or to a plane.
