Logistics is a part of the supply chain management that strategies, executes, and manages the storage and flow of products and goods between two points. Strategic planning and execution of the plan are what logistics is entirely based on.
The other functions of demand and supply chain are highly dependent on the accurate functioning of logistics. It helps in managing and optimizing all these activities and keeps the chain going.
