About the author
Lisbeth Pahnke, geb. 1945, ist eine schwedische Schriftstellerin und Übersetzerin. Die erste Geschichte um das Mädchen Britta und ihr Pony Silber schrieb sie als Jugendliche für einen Schreibwettbewerb – daraus entstand eine 14-bändige Serie, deren Charaktere zum Teil realen Vorbildern aus dem pferdebegeisterten Leben der Schriftstellerin entstammten.
