ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Jim Kwik is a brain and memory coach. He is the founder and CEO of Kwik Learning. Kwik has provided brain and speed-reading training to celebrities, Fortune 500 companies, and thousands of individuals looking to improve the way they learn.

Kwik has worked with Elon Musk, Oprah Winfrey, Sergey Brin, Richard Branson, and Larry Page. He has more than three decades of experience helping people learn and grow. Kwik is the child of immigrants; his father came to the U.S. from China prior to Kwik’s birth. Kwik himself grew up in Westchester, NY. At the age of 5, he suffered a devastating brain injury, which left him with significant learning deficits. He struggled to read, write, and learn. Worse, he suffered the bullying of classmates and teachers alike. Kwik’s mother was so moved by her son’s plight that she became a schoolteacher herself to help students like her son. While struggling in college, Kwik met a friend’s father, who served as his mentor. Kwik was so driven to learn and succeed that he pushed himself to the point of exhaustion. He fell down a flight of stairs, suffered another brain injury, and spent years in the hospital. After that turning point, Kwik changed his approach. Concentrating his efforts, Kwik taught himself to speed-read and learn faster. Since that time, he has dedicated his life to helping other people find the most efficient ways to learn. Kwik has spent 30 years building his business with workshops, speaking engagements, podcasts, and more. He is now one of the world’s leading brain coaches and motivational experts.
