Tentang eBook ini

The period c. 2500–2150 BC is now recognised as representing Britain’s own Copper Age, which has long been an established feature of prehistoric archaeology on the Continent. The 400 or so years that Britain’s Copper Age covers undoubtedly represent one of the most exciting periods of British prehistory. However, Life in Copper Age Britain is the first book to deal specifically with this period. Julian Heath examines the arrival of the Beaker people, mining and metalworking, religious monuments and practices, the enigmatic Beaker and Grooved Ware vessels, armed conflict, and settlements in this informative work.
