This is a prequel in Greenwood's new series the Dragon Duels. This is a short read but a great intro into this new world of dragons. This is the story of Piper and Joseph and their journey to freedom. A fast paced storyline that will have you excited to read more. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

What a great prequel to this fantasy series. It sort of reminded me of Hunger Games but with dragons and some other twists. It's exciting and had me on edge, in a good way, the whole time reading. I can't wait to start the actual series after getting a glimpse of this one.

This was a short but fast-paced read that had action, intrigue and suspense. The storyline was well-written and the main female lead was brave and thoughtful. I’m looking forward to reading the first book in this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
