The only reason I gave this a 4 star was because I expected that I was reading an erotic steamy romance. It’s very well written and the heat!!!! Sophie and Luke set the kindle screen on fire!! I was disappointed that there wasn’t a lot to the storyline. If you’re looking for a quick erotica to read, definitely pick this up!!. This is a short story about Sophie, a mafia princess, and her illicit relationship with Luke, her bodyguard. The story picks up at a quick action scene followed by a very steamy scene between the main characters. The author really painted a picture of exactly what was happening and what each character was thinking in the moment. I wasn't a huge fan of some of the dialogue as it felt a bit forced, but that didn't hinder the enjoyment of the story itself. Would recommend for a quick spicy read! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This was an exciting read. Sophie and Luke were being chased at a club and the first part of this story was about getting away. Then they found themselves in a suite and their passion got ignited and things got really steamy. This was a quick, short read but I wish we got more info about what happens after.
