This was a truly wonderful read. The characters made their way into my heart and now they're stuck there. Being a part of Odin's journey to self discovery under the lead of his Elf knight master, Miko, who's training him to as a squire to be a knight and under the protection of their fiery guardian, Nova, has really taught me a lot of lessons. Boye has achieved a great feat in how he managed to highlight some issues that humanity is grappling with presently in the historical fantastical setting the story is set in. From human trafficking, homophobia, child abandonment, intolerance towards different people/ beings, controlling biological urges.. the list is endless. There were some spelling errors here and there, but it doesn't take away from the good the book offers. Another thing that ticks me off is the vulgar language. Seriously, Nova's tongue needs to be scrubbed with detergent 🤦♀️.

7/10 While the story itself was good, the writing at times was most tedious. Too many times there was a gap where I realized that all of a sudden it was a month later in the timeline. The double negatives and overall language also seemed ill fitting.
