The splendor of the gospel is that “Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures” (1 Cor. 15:3-4). This book addresses God’s holiness, man’s sin, the reason for the cross, and why God’s love and grace are so wonderful. Personal stories from the author’s life help to encourage those who are seeking after God. The book is also an ideal resource for those who work in jail or prison ministry.

О аутору

Dr. Steven R. Cook is a Christian educator and has taught undergraduate courses in theology at Tyndale Theological Seminary in Hurst, Texas. He’s also served as an advising professor for online students. He is protestant, conservative, and a traditional dispensationalist. Studies in the original languages of Scripture, ancient history, and systematic theology have been the foundation for Steven’s teaching and writing ministry. He has written several Christian books, dozens of articles on Christian theology, and recorded more than nine hundred hours of audio and video messages. Steven hosts a weekly Bible study at his home in Arlington, Texas, where he records most of the Bible lessons for his podcast and YouTube channel. Steven’s ministry activity is entirely voluntary. Since 2004, he has been in a full-time professional position at a local nonprofit agency that is committed to assisting the elderly and disabled individuals in the community.
