Dr. Philippe Pringuet is an assistant professor in computer science at Bahrain Polytechnic, teaching on multiple courses of the Programming major. Philippe has 15 years experience in education in European and Middle Eastern contexts and is an Apple Certified trainer and a Senior Fellow of the Advanced Higher Education, UK. Philippe led the development of the Bachelor of ICT Programme at Bahrain Polytechnic and in his roles as Head of School of ICT and then as Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, provided the leadership to guide the ICT and Engineering programmes towards international accreditation with the British Computer Society and the Institution of Engineering and Technology. Personable and energetic academic with 10+ years management experience establishing a new Polytechnic in a multicultural environment. An active participant in National Education Reform, creating and delivering programmes in a Problem Based Learning approach following student-centred principles and, contributor to the establishment of the Labour Market Observatory.
