Als ich 2007 die Diagnose: Hashimoto Thyreoiditis erhielt, hatte ich schon einen langen Leidensweg hinter mir. Doch die damals behandelnden Ärzte halfen mir nicht weiter. Erst drei Jahre später traf ich auf kompetente Ärzte, die mich behandelten. So geht es sehr vielen Patienten, bei denen wertvolle Zeit zwischen Diagnose und Behandlung vergeht. Zudem haben viele von ihnen erlebt, dass sie von etlichen Ärzten nicht ernstgenommen werden, da die meisten von ihnen sich nicht, oder nur sehr wenig mit diesem Krankheitsbild auskennen.
