What I really enjoyed was how they added a bit of the history inti the novel, but that soon faded after the first. The last one was excellent because it was like one last goodbye and the third was just heartbreaking.

A teen boy discovers a world of magic, I particularly loved the fun take on what lies beyond death from my favourite American subculture group.

Book one: well the film is absolute rubbish by comparison, such a good book. I've enjoyed the journey that the following three books took me on but not to sure I can see how they would continue to transfer over onto film. A good, well written read. A series that I'd re-read? Yes. Definitely.
