Adam Sandler is an American comedian, actor, screenwriter, producer, and musician. He was born on September 9, 1966, in New York City and grew up in Manchester, New Hampshire. Sandler first gained popularity as a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1990 to 1995 and later, as a star of various Hollywood comedies from the late 1990s to the present. He is known for his humorous characters and his ability to tackle difficult comedic roles. Throughout his career, Sandler has written, produced, and starred in many popular films such as Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison, The Wedding Singer, Big Daddy and Punch-Drunk Love. In addition to his film career, Sandler has also released several comedy albums, which have enjoyed commercial success. He began his significant film career with Billy Madison and later with Happy Gilmore. Soon after, he continued to star in hit comedy films like The Waterboy and Little Nicky. Sandler also appeared in romantic comedies such as 50 First Dates and The Wedding Singer. Despite receiving criticism for his recent movies, Sandler has stayed relevant in todayâs entertainment industry as he continues to produce and perform in comedy films.
