It's brief & succinct. I wanted to understand the basics of Norse Mythology, & the author achieved this. It was a little too barebones, in my opinion. I think a few stories detailing specific Acts of heroism & valour done by Thor, Odin, Hela, etc, would have added to the tome. I also think that some B&W illustrations would have been useful, since a picture conveys so much information. There was almost no discussion of the Gods' interactions with mankind, which was a shame.

The book is simply an introduction to the Norse mythology. While reading this, it feels like you are reading some project report. Good for beginners like me who are looking for light reading as well as their first introduction to Norse mythology.

It's a good quick read alot of information in an hour. It doesn't explain all the God's or have all the God's story but is good briefing into Norse mythology and how it relates to modern day religions.
