Acerca do autor

Kate Morton was born in South Australia and grew up in the mountains of south-east Queensland. She has degrees in dramatic art and English literature, specializing in nineteenth-century tragedy and contemporary gothic novels. She is the author of The House at Riverton, The Forgotten Garden, The Distant Hours, The Secret Keeper, The Lake House and The Clockmaker's Daughter, which have all been global number one bestsellers. She began her latest novel Homecoming after leaving the UK in March 2020 to be near family in South Australia. Inspired by themes of home, belonging and family, her novel is set in London (‘the city of my heart’) and the Adelaide Hills, and is filled with secrets and mysteries, mothers and daughters, and a big old house on a hill.
