Um þessa rafbók

A deadly hit-and-run. Two terrified brothers. A hostage situation that could tear a town apart.

Kathleen George returns with the riveting sequel to her Edgar®-nominated novel, The Odds. When a young mother dies in a tragic hit-and-run accident caused by brothers Jack and Ryan Rutter, the desperate and afraid siblings flee to their childhood vacation spot, Sugar Lake. As Detectives Colleen Greer and Richard Christie relentlessly pursue the brothers, a terrifying hostage situation unfolds.

In this fast-paced and brilliantly plotted thriller, George masterfully weaves together psychological suspense and police procedural elements. With a rookie female cop at the helm and the stakes rising by the minute, Hideout is a gripping tale of crime, fear, and the unbreakable bonds of family in the face of unimaginable circumstances. Set against the backdrop of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, this character-driven mystery will keep readers on the edge of their seats until the heart-pounding conclusion.
