She shows how the biblical writers see heaven and earth as closely connected, so that what happens in heaven affects events on earth and vice versa.

Paula Gooder is a writer and lecturer in New Testament studies. She is also a visiting lecturer at King's College London and Canon Theologian of Birmingham and Guildford Cathedrals. Her previous books include Searching for Meaning (SPCK 2008).
