The scope of the book ranges from medical and healthcare applications of AI, roles that predictive AI can be applied and used in cybersecurity, to strategic intervention via the application of KPIs developed from AI, data pipeline improvement, forecasting in industries such as agriculture, housing stock, traffic management and crime, and sustainability in supply chains.
The book was edited by an academic team working in different areas of applied AI. Professor Hamid Jahankhani has led innovative research in cybersecurity and contributed extensively to publications and conferences. Gordon Bowen, an Associate Professor, specializes in management, strategy, and marketing. Dr. Nitsa J. Herzog, an AI and computer-aided medical diagnosis expert, leads research in AI and data sciences. Dr. David J. Herzog works on merging healthcare and IT, focusing on human-AI interaction.
