Geography & Ethnic Pluralism (1984) examines the debate around pluralism – the segmentation of population by race and culture – as a social and state issue, and explores this issue in Third World and metropolitan contexts. The field is opened up by a re-examination of the seminal work of J.S. Furnivall and M.G.
