About this ebook

The Buddhist Independence Sutra is a historical and spiritual declaration proclaiming the autonomy of the Buddhist People in the face of political structures that have systematically violated human rights, ethical principles, and the dignity of life. Inspired by the teachings of Siddhartha Gautama and the right of peoples to self-determination, this text defends the creation of a Free and Independent Buddhist Nation, guided by compassion, wisdom, and justice.

Through a firm yet peaceful voice, the Sutra denounces the many forms of violence—military, ecological, cultural, economic, and spiritual—perpetrated by States, and affirms the Buddhist People’s right to live according to their own values, traditions, and systems.

This Declaration is not a call to confrontation, but to ethical emancipation and compassionate detachment, consecrating a universal path of reconciliation and respect for all beings. Under the protection of the Buddha, the Dharma, and the Sangha, the Sutra reaffirms the commitment to liberate the world from suffering.
