About the author
Frank Viscuso is a deputy chief, international speaker, podcast host, and author of six books, including bestsellers Sprinkles the Fire Dog, Step Up and Lead and Step Up Your Teamwork. As a speaker, Frank has the ability to move people to action. For over a decade he has spoken to audiences on many topics, including leadership development, team building, and customer service. His energetic and emotion-filled keynote speeches and seminars are designed to introduce people to the top traits associated with leadership and equip them with the skills they will need to lead, inspire, and motivate their teams.
Paul Combs is cartoonist, illustrator, and firefighter/EMT. His lavishly detailed artwork is published worldwide in magazines, books, and corporate safety training material. He is the editorial cartoonist for Fire Engineering magazine and is the author of Drawn by Fire, Drawn by Fire, Too, Drawing Lines: The Art of Making a Difference, Drawn by Fire 4, and is the illustrator of bestselling children's book series Sprinkles the Fire Dog.
Paul joined the fire service in 1995, and has been a fire service instructor since 2000. He is currently a lieutenant for the City of Bryan Fire Department (Ohio) where he is a Firefighter, EMT, HazMat Technician, and instructor for the City of Bryan Fire Training Academy. Paul is an FDIC presenter and Hands-On-Training instructor, and recipient of the George D. Post ISFSI 2018 Instructor of the Year Award.
