About this ebook

What is Anglo Saxon Model

The Anglo-Saxon model is a regulated market-based economic model that emerged in the 1970s based on the Chicago school of economics. It was spearheaded in the 1980s in the United States by the economics of then President Ronald Reagan, and it was supplemented in the United Kingdom by Margaret Thatcher, who was Prime Minister at the time. On the other hand, it is believed that its beginnings may be traced back to the 18th century in the United Kingdom, namely to the theories of Adam Smith, a classical economist.
