Honestly this series is getting disappointing. The first two books was all build up/back story for this mass conflict against an interesting new foe, but falls completely flat right out of the gate. I found this 'major conflict' completely unnecessary and frankly boring as hell. All enemies get mowed down in mere seconds with no suspense or much difficulty. The only difficulties our main characters face are the ones that the writer wills into existence. Events don't happen because of the plot, they happen for the plot. I found their victories and losses the same, forced and lazy.

non-spoiler :its an ok book but not everyone will like it due to how everything is structured. In my opinion everything before this book is prologue.its a book where there a twist in the promises . Also i don't know how to explain this except by talking about spoilers so spoiler um the first book promise us an rts in a fantasy world, but in this book everything changes its now rts vs issekia vs rpg vs an 18+ erogame vs dnd like game vs an evil god who planned everthing sooooo I feel like the author wanted us to be like omg this is so cool what a twist and i didnt feel any of that . i felt like it landed on the moon where the moon people launched it back to earth which made earth go back into the stone age soooo in other word it left me with a "huh that happen" for promises and expectation .

I hate where it's going, and I can't believe they did that to my girls, but I just could not put it down...
