This is the story of Naiya Kapur, a Princeton University graduate who comes to Mumbai to chase the big Indian dream - Bollywood. In the middle of scuttling between auditions and parties of every hue, Naiya enters into a potentially 'happily ever after' relationship - that turns out to be an 'it's complicated' one - with a neurotic ex-model-turned-film producer. About the author
Diksha Basu was born in Delhi and grew up in Delhi and upstate New York. She graduated from Cornell University with a double major in economics and French. Diksha lived in Bombay for four years and is currently pursuing an MFA in creative writing at Columbia University, New York City. Opening Night is her first book.
