About the author
Mark Watson, geboren 1980 in Bristol, ist Romanautor, Kolumnist, Radio- und Fernsehmoderator und international erfolgreicher Stand-up-Comedian. Er ist außerdem Fußball-Experte, studierter Literaturwissenschaftler und Umweltaktivist. Er ist bekannt für Marathonauftritte, die 24 Stunden und länger dauern. Mark Watson lebt mit seiner Frau und seinem Sohn in London. »Ich könnte am Samstag« (Hardcover: »Elf Leben«) war sein erster ins Deutsche übersetzter Roman, zuletzt erschien von ihm »Hotel Alpha«.
