This book was overall good. The beginning was too long but it really helped to have such funny characters. I laughed out loud many times throughout the book. At some points, it did get cheesy and somewhat Cliché. The main hero wasn't portrayed as tough as everyone made him out to be. It was more of a feel good story compared to other Palmer books.

I've read many of her books, even going back to find some published before I was born. This one was simply "okay". It felt like she was in a hurry and mashed three prior storylines together to make a deadline.

GABRIEL BRANDON & MICHELLE GODFREY: He is a highly skilled special agent and covert operative for governments. She is just 16 when orphaned and needs help. 'Love at first sight' hits both of them but can this be true love with Michelle, being too young and wanting a career; and, Gabriel leaving for long periods of time for his work out in the world. She's broke and he's wealthy. Will love finally bridge the gap? Full of heat, warm hearts and humor; definitely, a DP romantic novel!
