O autoru

Walt Whitman (1819-1892) was an American poet, essayist, and journalist, best known for his groundbreaking collection Leaves of Grass. Born on Long Island, New York, Whitman worked as a teacher, printer, and newspaper editor before embarking on a career as a poet. His innovative free verse style and celebration of the American experience made him one of the most influential writers of the 19th century.
