We are back with the Brotherhood Protectors as well as new hire former Delta Force soldier, Rafe Donovan. Briana Hayes is a dedicated social worker in Chicago. When she sees a woman in an alley and helps her and her baby find a safe place , she never thought that she was putting her life and those around her, in danger. Desperate for help, Briana calls her SEAL brother letting him know she needs help. That’s when he call his old teammate Rafe. Determined to help her, he gets the approval of Hank , the Brotherhood Protectors boss. From that moment, while staying alive is proving a challenge , the attraction grows. Will they survive the cartel? If they do, will their time together be only a memory or will it become their future? This was another engaging story. It was also fun to “visit” with characters of previous stories and being introduced to Rafe’s former teammates. Likely getting their own stories in the near future. I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Can you say action-packed? That's what you get with Delta Force Rescue by Elle James. Ms. James has delivered a well-written book populated with a cast of characters that are outstanding. Briana is a Child Welfare Officer that finds a woman and baby when she leaves her last stop for the day, so she drives them to a shelter for abused women. Rafe is heading to Montana to start his new job with Brotherhood Protectors when his friend calls to ask him to take care of his sister Briana after her friend is murdered. Rafe and Briana's story is packed with drama, humor, sizzle, action and suspense. This book kept me glued to my e-reader from start to finish, I loved it, cover to cover excitement. I'm looking forward to my next book by Elle James. Delta Force Rescue is book 15 of the Brotherhood Protectors Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from Bookfunnel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book was fast paced from the very beginning. Even with occurrences being somewhat predictable from the time Briana entered the alley, it took nothing away from the story. If anything, if only added to the suspense because you knew something was coming; just not the what or when. I liked the way Rafe and Briana made their initial connection. Even through her fear, I could pick up on the interest , attraction, sexual tension, romance, and the fact that they just liked one another. Add into the mix the danger, intrigue, suspense, and you have a perfect storm. Then you get the bonus of a couple of twists at the end and an HEA. It made me want more. Definitely a 4.5 read. I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
