She stumbled upon her decorated shoebox, a receptacle of secrets and trauma and unrequited love and unhealed heart and withdrawn promises. This is Ailyn’s second poetry collection, Decorated Shoebox.

Jowe Ailyn is a fourth year Bachelor of Science in Accountancy student when making this book of poems. She is 21 years old at the time. She is born on December 3, 2000 at Mandaue City, Cebu and was raised in Talisayan, Misamis Oriental. Ailyn was an awarded campus journalist in elementary and high school and remained in the campus journalism scene in college.
